Foil: 1:67 cards advertised (Zendikar through War of the Spark/Modern Horizons, lethe.xyz per-set pages; mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Foil_card: 'previous 1:67' before M20's 1:45); 22.4% of packs (derived, = 9/40 used by taw). Foil of any rarity (incl. basic land) replaces a common.
The average is exact — every card's price times how often it appears. Median, the top-10% figure and the hit rate come from 2,000 simulated packs, the same packs every night, so the numbers move only when prices move.
