How these numbers are made

Odds

print-sheet odds (MTGJSON) · confidence high. The pack variants and per-card sheet weights compiled from Wizards' collation information, as published by MTGJSON. Sources: magic.wizards.com, magic.wizards.com, magic.wizards.com.

WotC product overview verbatim: 'At least 1 rare or mythic rare card (approximately 27% ... 2 rares or mythic rares, 3% contain 3, ... 4 ... less than 1%) / 1 Traditional foil card of any rarity / 1 Rulebook, module, or borderless common or uncommon / 1 Art card or foil-stamped art card / 7-10 Commons and uncommons (at most 7 may be uncommon) / 1 Basic land or foil basic land / 1 Ad/token/dungeon card or 1 card from The List'. Collecting article: '30% of Set Boosters contain at least two rares or mythic rares'.

Value

The average is exact — every card's price times how often it appears. Median, the top-10% figure and the hit rate come from 2,000 simulated packs, the same packs every night, so the numbers move only when prices move.

TCGplayer market prices as of 2026-10-27, foil price for foil slots. Market price is not what you would get selling — subtract fees and shipping. Colour balancing of common sheets is not modelled.
